Automotive Not the best
Not the best, did help with info needed, but did a better job with info from internet searches. Could recomend it if the pictures and diagrams is what you are looking for. The maintenance, tune-up & electrical diagrams is very small, really battles to read everything.

Automotive Toyota Land Cruiser Diesel 1972-1990 Repair Manual
Excellent book. More applicable to later Land Cruisers, not so much to earlier models but still useful. A bit dense, suggest copying pages out to larger formats (especially the electrical diagrams) for clarity.

Automotive very uncommon, but adequate info for intermediate hobbyist
For the novice to intermediate-level hobbyist like me, this book is a great resource! Toyota USA can't provide this kind of details, and getting stuff from Toyota Australia is very hard. I don't think it'll be as detailed as the Toyota factory manual, but I'll be happy with it for now.
It has a lot of drawings, pictures, and step-by-step instructions on how to do things yourself, or at least know how to avoid being swindled by mechanics not worth their title/profession.
